In-School Mentoring

Have fun, de-stress, and feel like a kid again while making a positive and local impact for youth! Our In-School Mentoring Program pairs you with one elementary school student who you share common interests with.

Matches spend one-hour once per week together on school grounds doing non-academic activities such as playing sports, games, creating art or just hanging out at the playground. Our matches are paired for the duration, or remainder, of the academic school-year.

Deadline to apply to increase the likelihood of being an In-School Mentor for the 2024-25 school year is Feb 1, 2025.

Our Big Buddies are
•	Adults aged 18+, inclusive of male, female, trans, and gender diverse individuals.
•	Mentors who Little Buddies can talk to, learn from, and share experiences with.
•	Available 1 hour per week during school hours (weekdays between 10am and 3pm).

Our Little Buddies are
•	Students grade 1 to 7 nominated by teachers, staff or by themselves.
•	Children who could use a bit of extra 1-on-1 attention, need to build confidence, or may have trouble connecting with peers.
