Are you ready to help build something from the ground up? We’re just kicking off our journey at the Candy Foundation, and we’re looking for a passionate Fundraising Coordinator to join our team. If you love books and want to play a key role in growing a nonprofit from 0, this is the perfect opportunity. Your efforts will help us create meaningful fundraising campaigns that will fuel our mission to make books accessible to everyone. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet the foundation’s financial goals. - Plan and coordinate fundraising events, both online and in-person, to engage our community. - Identify and approach potential donors, sponsors, and partners to secure funding. - Collaborate with the team to create promotional materials for fundraising efforts. - Track and manage donor relationships, ensuring timely follow-up and communication. - Maintain accurate records of donations and fundraising activities. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in fundraising or event planning, with a successful track record. - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Creative problem-solving and the ability to think strategically. - A passion for books, literacy, and community-building. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
