Hello! Welcome to the Canucks Autism Network!

Canucks Autism Network (CAN) was founded in 2008 by Vancouver Canucks Co-owners, Paolo and Clara Aquilini, whose son is on the autism spectrum. CAN is dedicated to providing programs to individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, while promoting acceptance and inclusion through community engagement and training initiatives across BC and beyond.

Volunteering at CAN

One of the best ways to contribute to our cause, is through our incredible volunteering program. We have various intakes every year (seasonal opportunities) and will contact volunteers in an ongoing basis. Kindly note that volunteers who apply in-between seasons, may take longer to be processed on our end.

***We are especially looking for volunteers in the following areas: Kelowna, West Kelowna, Kamloops.***

Volunteers will also be trained on-site by our staff.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
--Hands on training/support from qualified staff on how to work with neurodiverse people (all ages).
--Hour Verification & Reference Letters (Volunteers must be in good standing). 
--Ability to join the CAN team as a paid staff. 
--Ability to accumulate volunteer hours for post-secondary or graduate-level certifications.
