About Us:

Coding Pals is a student-run non-profit offering free weekly coding classes to youth. Founded in Vancouver, BC, we aim to make computer programming accessible to all, providing high-quality instruction and resources to inspire the next generation of tech leaders.

Role Description:

Coding Pals is seeking dedicated instructors, preferably at a high school age, to lead online sessions on Zoom and teach the basics of C++ to youth, covering coding examples and fundamental concepts. This role requires proficiency in C++, a moderate time commitment, and a passion for empowering young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly live coding sessions on Zoom, teaching C++ fundamentals to a group of young students.
- Teach readily available Coding Pals material in a manner that is tailored to the age group and skill level of the students.
- Provide real-time support and guidance to students during coding exercises, ensuring they understand key concepts.
