The Finance Director will oversee the financial operations of Fluent in Minds, ensuring the organization’s financial health and sustainability. This role involves managing budgets, financial planning, and reporting, as well as advising the Executive Team on financial strategies.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Develop and manage the organization’s budget (across departments)
• Oversee the financial planning process for all projects
• Maintain accurate financial records that comply with all financial regulations
• Plan and manage fundraising initiatives, tracking revenue and expenses
• Oversee grant management, ensuring funds are used effectively and in accordance with grant agreements
• Maintain clear and active communication
General requirements:
• Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial management
• Familiarity with nonprofit financial regulations, or a willingness to gain this knowledge
• Significant time management skills and commitment to the role
• Experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role within an organization
