Outreach Director

Fluent in Minds is a youth-led organization dedicated to improving the accessibility of mental health care and awareness of mental health to those who do not speak English. Our volunteers translate mental health care information to lower language and stigma barriers to professional help. The Outreach Director will manage outreach strategy, oversee existing partnerships with local healthcare institutions, and work to secure new partnerships. Responsibilities and tasks: • Meet with partners to discuss project requirements, deadlines, and progression • Write, initiate, and track professional communication with healthcare institutions • Liaise between partners and Executive Team • Work with Language Team Leads to assign projects to Translators • Maintain clear and active communication General requirements • Extreme attention to detail • Excellent and professional communication skills • Significant time management and commitment • Familiarity with local healthcare institutions and willingness to gain more in-depth understandings of institutions • Leadership skills and or experience
