Heritage Vancouver Society

Heritage Vancouver Society (HVS) is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to being a voice for heritage by providing educational programming and creating awareness of heritage issues in the city. Our concept of heritage is broad; we practice heritage with the understanding that our natural and built environments are cultural and oftentimes with a number of cultural and social meanings. We think critically about and apply widely accepted professional principles and practices in carrying out our work. It is critical for us to approach heritage in a way that continually engages with the world around us to improve our present and future.
