SENIOR PEER Support Counselling TRAINING The training curriculum was developed by Senior Peer Counselling of BC For Volunteers 55 years and over Are you interested in helping support the quality of life for Seniors? Some are experiencing: • Grief & loss • Disconnect from their loved ones • Age related health challenges • A need to connect to their community • Social isolation on • Cognitive impairment Senior Peer Support Training The 12 sessions are starting on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 and continuing for six consecutive weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2026 on February 3,5,10,12,17,19,24,26 and continuing on March 2,4,9 and in person on Thursday, March 11, 2026. The sessions are from 4 pm- 8 pm all on Zoom except for the 12th session on Thursday, March 11 in perso Offered at no cost for a total of 12 sessions. Upon completion you will get a certificate in senior peer support training. The 12 sessions are starting on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 and continuing for six consecutive weeks on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2026 on February 3,5,10,12,17,19,24,26 and continuing on March 2,4,9 and in person on Thursday, March 11, 2026.
