Justice 48 is seeking a dedicated Grant Writer to help secure funding that supports our mission of providing legal aid, advocacy, and community support to individuals facing systemic injustice. The volunteer will research grant opportunities, draft compelling proposals, and help maintain a calendar of funding deadlines. This role directly strengthens our ability to expand programs, support vulnerable clients, and build long‑term organizational sustainability. Key responsibilities include: Identifying relevant grants from foundations, government programs, and philanthropic organizations Drafting and editing grant applications, letters of intent, and supporting documents Collaborating with the Justice 48 team to gather program data and impact stories Tracking submissions, deadlines, and reporting requirements Helping refine our funding strategy to increase long‑term success This is an impactful role for someone who wants to use their writing and research skills to advance justice and human rights.
