The Project Manager will enter into a 3-way partnership between the Client organization, the Project Manager, and PMV. Project Description The Foundation will perform a Business Process Review of their critical Scholarships Grant Program. The overall purpose will be to analyze look for process improvement opportunities and obtain maximum efficiencies when managing the grant applications process, from initial receipt to evaluation, awarding the grants, communication and follow-up with the recipients. The overall project will be managed across 2 phases. Phase 1 – Conduct Business Process Review, present findings and recommendations Phase 2 – Implement business process changes as per Phase 1 recommendations At this time, the Foundation is seeking a volunteer Project Manager to perform Phase 1. The Project Manager requirements for Phase 2 will be reassessed at end of Phase 1. Project Manager Responsibilities • Conduct Business Process Review • Present findings and recommendations • Develop high level plan to implement recommendations Required Qualifications • Minimum 5 years’ project management experience • Minimum 5 years conducting business process review studies • Excellent written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills • Experience with the not-for-profit sector is desirable Estimated Time Commitment • 4 hours/week Start Date: May 19, 2025 End Date: August 31, 2025 Remote Work All work for this engagement can be done remotely. Accountability The PM volunteer will have end-end accountability on project deliverables, reporting to Program Officer, Tami Mason Lathrop. Benefits The Program Officer will provide a letter of recommendation to the PM volunteer at the successful conclusion of the project and serve as a reference. Notes • The Foundation may proceed with interviewing and engaging applicants before the application deadline.
