Helicopters Without Borders (HWB) is a Canadian based not-for-profit organization that offers affordable aviation to humanitarian efforts with a focus on removing the barriers to health and wellness affecting Canada’s most remote and underserved communities. To date we have delivered over 5,600 health practitioner sessions, dozens of low-acuity patient transfers, 124,000lbs of emergency medical and food supplies, 3,500 vaccines and have flown 72,000 kms in partnership with BC’s most isolated indigenous communities; a combined distance nine times the length of Canada – all while being carbon neutral.

Project Summary
The Impact Digital Dashboard project aims to develop a dynamic, data-driven platform that visualizes key impact metrics for HWB in real-time. Built from the ground up, the dashboard will automatically pull data from our surveys and reports on Google Forms to generate interactive visualizations such as charts and graphs. It will help track and analyze critical metrics, including the number of patients served, cultural safety rankings of patients’ geographic distribution, number of healthcare practitioners and so forth. The dashboard will provide our internal team with live and comprehensive insights, to enhance our ability to communicate our impact in the communities we serve and all external stakeholders.

Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Provide management and development of the dashboard.
- Provide technical subject matter expertise sufficient to help develop the technical options and determine any related estimates.
- Provide regular project updates, documentation and presenting to executive level stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
- PMP designation is required.
- Minimum 10 years project management experience
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of Google suite, SQL, Tableau, Power BI or any other data handling and management, and visualization tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with not-for-profit sector is desirable.
- Experience working with Indigenous peoples is a benefit.

Estimated Time Commitment
4 hours/week

Start Date:          March 31, 2025                                                      End Date:          July 31, 2025

Accountability
The PM volunteer will have end-end accountability on project deliverables, reporting to the Impact & Engagement Manager, Lindsay Bodrug who is leading the Impact Digital Dashboard project.
