STEAM INSTRUCTOR (Richmond)

STEAM INSTRUCTOR | Stemming from STEAM Foundation
Time: Saturdays, 2:00pm-4:00pm, January to February 2025
Location: Richmond Public Library: Cambie Branch, 11590 Cambie Rd. V6X 3Z5

Stemming from STEAM Foundation is looking for passionate individuals to lead STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, English, Arts, and Mathematics) weekly extracurricular programs at the Richmond Public Library's Cambie Branch! 

As a program instructor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering/teaching clear and engaging STEAM lessons
- Support students (max 15/class) from Grades 3-6 with hands-on activities
- Creating an inclusive and welcoming environment
- Organizing fun curriculums
- Reporting back to program supervisors
- Collaborating with other program instructors

Skills Required
- Strong communication skills, specifically with youths
- Ability to adapt lessons to student/class interests and needs
- Patience and empathy
- Professionalism

Qualifications:
- No age requirement (we welcome high school students)
- Similar past experiences are a bonus
