Call for Board Candidates - Senior Lawyer

The Kettle Society is looking for a senior lawyer to join its Board of Directors in 2025. CANDIDATE PROFILE The successful candidate is a generative thinker and strategic leader with a principled and pragmatic approach to business and governance. As a Kettle director, you would work with skilled and dedicated colleagues to govern the delivery of services and influence organizational capacity to empower those living with mental illness, substance use, poverty, and homelessness to live more fully in the broader community. The Kettle is committed to a low-barrier approach to supporting people where they are on their mental health journey and the Board is always looking to enhance its governance capacity with diversified voices and perspectives that can strengthen the alignment of governance with the lived experience of its member clientele. Your experience, energy, strategic insights, and time commitment will be invaluable in ensuring that The Kettle Society builds firmly on its nearly 50 years as a highly respected mental health support service and partner of choice for governments, funders, and all those who care about mental health. You may also bring a track record of engaging your networks in raising funds and/or accessing other types of support as The Kettle undertakes a major capital development project and related fundraising.
