Vancouver Food Runners (VFR) is a Canadian registered charity founded in 2019 as a direct response to the disconnect between food waste, food insecurity, and environmental sustainability. Vancouver Food Runners works with food retailers, wholesalers, restaurants, caterers, universities, and other food providers to recover unsellable but perfectly good food and redirect it to nonprofits that serve those who are food insecure.
