Indoor Cage Cleaner - Surrey Branch
Vancouver Rabbit Rescue and Advocacy was incorporated in 2003 as a non-profit British Columbia society, became a Canadian registered charity shortly thereafter (#88248 1609 RR0001) and in 2009 became the Vancouver Chapter of the House Rabbit Society. We are dedicated to raising awareness of rabbits as house pets, to the care and shelter of abandoned and neglected rabbits, and to provide education regarding the problems of rabbit breeding, selling and their care. Indoor Cage Cleaners: (no bunny handling experience required) • Recruiting for weekdays! • Starts anytime between 10:30 am and 12:30 pm (takes up to 2 hours, start time is your choice) • Involves sweeping, refilling hay and water, and emptying litter boxes • Must be comfortable lifting heavy objects (ex. Bag of wood pellets, tub of hay) • Requires collaboration with other volunteers
Additional Details & Skills Required
Volunteers will need to have their own transportation to access the shelter.
