Become an Article Writer At the Vancouver Visual Art Foundation!

The Vancouver Visual Art Foundation is a non profit organization whose mission is to Unite the World through Art. Our vision at Vancouver Visual Art Foundation is to create a signature destination and premier events that brings global awareness to the visual arts in Vancouver. We cultivate a positive and supportive community by engaging artists and art lovers, elevating under-served voices, and expressing creativity across all events and programs. 

At VVAF, We are looking for highly skilled individuals who have experience and confidence to write articles related to art. You can find out blog at https://www.vanvaf.com/blog-main-page where we upload 1 blog post every week.

As an Article Writer, it is not necessary that you have previous article experience. However, you will need to...
- Have access to word processing software
- Become familiar with Google Suite (docs, sheets) and Slack
- Be proficient in English including grammar, spelling, wide vocabulary, punctuation
- Edit and proof read (revising, style, structure)
- Work with a team, while being motivated to work alone & online 
- Stay focused, meet deadlines, communicate with team members,
- Possess strong research skills 

All Article Writers at VVAF are a part of the Long-Term Volunteer team. As such, you will commit to a minimum 3 month term, writing one 500 word blog post per month. This will be a work-from-home placement.
