Board member for Healthcare & Educational Organization

CCMI is looking for volunteer board members to support our mission. This is a great opportunity to contribute your skills and help improve healthcare and social services in Canada and the US. The role is unpaid, with a 3-year term. We meet virtually four times a year (90 minutes each), with optional committee work if you’d like to get more involved.

We’re looking for people with experience in:

- Sales or Marketing
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance or Accounting
- Law (especially copyright or privacy)
- Board Development
- Organizational Growth

What you’ll do:
- Follow CCMI’s guidelines and act in our best interest.
- Avoid conflicts of interest and maintain confidentiality.
- Stay up to date on our financials and legal responsibilities.
- Actively participate in board meetings and decisions.
- Support the board’s goals and help improve how we work together.
- Assist with budget oversight and fundraising efforts.
- Build connections with our members and stakeholders.
- Help with staff hiring and shaping our strategic plans.
