Aviation Hangar Host
Working in the Aviation Display Gallery (Hangar), you will work behind the front desk. With more than 20 historic aircraft on display around you, this position is great for someone looking to expand their knowledge of Canadian aviation history! The Reynolds Museum has one of the largest collections of aircraft in the country and this position will get you directly involved with the public as they see the displays. A majority of your work will involve greeting visitors and being available for general questions. There is no previous aviation knowledge is required. Just a friendly and polite attitude and an interest in aviation. Duties can include: - Welcoming visitors to the Aviation Display Gallery (Hangar) - Tracking the number of visitors who come to the Hangar - Providing a general overview of what is available in the building - Answering questions about the artifacts on display - Providing information about activities, programs and events at the Museum - Ensuring visitors do not cross barriers and are behaving in a safe manner - Opening and/or closing the Aviation Display Gallery building - Cleaning and restocking the interactive displays
