Information Host
If you love history and meeting new people, this volunteer role gives you the opportunity to chat with every visitor who enters the Reynolds Museum! The Reynolds Museum is an award-winning museum all about celebrating machines. We collect in 4 different mandate areas: Transportation, Aviation, Agriculture and Industry. If you want a chance to be around machines, history and people who love both, this is the place for you! As an Information Host, you will be one of the first stops for visitors on their day at the Reynolds Museum. A majority of your work will involve greeting visitors, providing general directions and information, and answering general questions. Duties can include: - Welcoming visitors to the Reynolds Museum - Providing a general overview of the Museum's layout - Informing visitors of the many programs and activities available - Chatting with the public about the displays and stories of the artifacts - Restocking brochures - Ensuring that visitors do not cross barriers and are behaving in a safe manner
