Warehouse Tour Assistant
Are you interested in machines, history and/or museums? This opportunity gives volunteers a chance to go "behind-the-scenes" at the Reynolds Museum and help staff present our popular Warehouse Tours! The Reynolds Museum is an award-winning museum all about celebrating machines. We collect in 4 main mandate areas: Transportation, Aviation, Agriculture and Industry. On average, only about 10-15% of our collection is on display to the general public. This volunteer opportunity allows you to see the rest of the collection in our Warehouse building. As a Warehouse Tour Assistant, you will join our Museum Educators with our daily warehouse tour. While the Museum Educator delivers the tour, you will help by ensuring visitors stay in the group and keeping the Museum Educator on schedule. Duties can include: - Directing visitors while on the tour - Ensuring visitors do not touch the artifacts and stay with the group - Tracking the time to keep the Museum Educator on schedule - Working with the Museum Educator to make each tour fun and unique!
