Tech Workshop Facilitator

Are you a tech professional looking for a meaningful way to give back? ComIT is a Canada-wide non-profit charity that trains unemployed and underemployed people for free in IT skills. We run three month courses covering mostly software development languages and assist graduates after completion with landing a job in the tech field. We are seeking volunteers to lead one-hour virtual workshops for our graduates! Share your expertise on topics such as: - Landing a tech job in Canada - Teaching a technical concept - Offering tips on upskilling for career growth Each workshop will be held on Zoom, open to graduates Canada-wide. The first half of the session will be dedicated to your presentation, followed by a Q&A in the second half. Whether you're passionate about helping the next generation break into tech or eager to share the skills you’ve mastered, we’d love to hear from you!
