Quran School Teacher (Brothers & Sisters)

Are you passionate about teaching and shaping the future of our children? The Islamic Centre of South Calgary (ICSC) is inviting dedicated volunteers for our Quran School program.

Our Quran School is a comprehensive program specifically designed for children aged 6-17. Every Saturday, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, we host a variety of engaging activities for our children, focusing on Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, and Tajweed. Our aim is to provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and contribute to the community in the light of Islamic values.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Teach Arabic language, Islamic studies, and/or Tajweed to children.
- Interact with children, fostering a positive and supportive community.
- Contribute to the personal and spiritual development of our young participants.
- Gain valuable experience in teaching and child engagement.

In line with the teachings of Islam, we strive to instill values such as respect, compassion, honesty, and teamwork in our children. We believe in creating an environment that encourages learning, brotherhood/sisterhood, and spiritual growth.

We welcome individuals who are dedicated, reliable, and have a genuine interest in child development and Islamic education. Prior experience is preferred but is not required as training will be provided.
