2-3 hours / weekly
Ongoing every Friday
Are you passionate about community service and eager to contribute to the enrichment of young lives? The Islamic Centre of South Calgary (ICSC) is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for our weekly Youth Night program.

Our Youth Night is a vibrant program specifically designed for Muslim children aged 7-12. Every week, we host a variety of engaging activities for our youth, ranging from Arts and Crafts, Sports, Board Games, to Trivia and much more. Our aim is to provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where young people can learn, grow, and have fun in the light of Islamic values.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist in planning and executing a diverse range of activities.
- Interact with youth, fostering a positive and supportive community.
- Contribute to the personal development of our young participants.
- Gain valuable experience in community service and youth engagement.

In line with the teachings of Islam, we strive to instill values such as respect, compassion, honesty, and teamwork in our youth. We believe in creating an environment that encourages learning, brotherhood/sisterhood, and spiritual growth.

We welcome individuals who are dedicated, reliable, and have a genuine interest in youth development. Prior experience is not required as training will be provided.

Join us in making a difference in our community. Your time and effort can have a profound impact on the lives of our youth. Together, we can create memorable experiences that will last a lifetime, Insha’Allah.

For more information, please contact us at ICSC. If you would like to volunteer with older youth, please check out our Teen Night Volunteer opportunity. We look forward to welcoming you to our team, Insha’Allah!
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
