Open Arms Patient Advocacy Society is currently recruiting for Fundraising Director! The roles and responsibilities for this position are outlined below. We are a non-profit organization based in Alberta that offers free advocacy services for individuals in our province who are struggling with their healthcare needs. We empower individuals to have a voice, and offer guidance, resources, and support to help navigate our challenging healthcare system.

Role and Responsibilities 

Seek, plan, and initiate fundraising opportunities to support the Society in collaboration with the Board of Directors.  

Collaborate with the Board Chair and Treasurer to seek granting opportunities for the Society and assist in grant writing.  

Develop relationships with major donors, identify new potential major donors and nurture relationships. 

Manage volunteers for fundraising projects.
