Office Support Volunteer for Youth Central

Looking to make a difference in the lives of Calgary youth?  Become an Office Support Volunteer at Youth Central! We're seeking friendly and organized individuals to be part of our team. 

About Youth Central: Youth Central is a Calgary-based charity empowering youth through volunteerism, leadership programs, and community involvement. Each year we help more than 2,200 youth aged 12 – 18 build confidence, social connections and invaluable life and leadership skills. 

Role Description: As an Office Volunteer, you will work closely with our team to help us deliver engaging programming to youth right here in Calgary.  You will also help plan special events and lend a hand in our busy office. 

Responsibilities:
-Greet visitors and handle inquiries, including incoming calls and general e-mails.
-Update databases and help with accurate and timely data input. 
-Help with youth volunteer recognition (reference letters, t-shirt pick-ups, certificate creation).
-Assist with meeting planning. 
-Support programming and special events.
-Be responsible for ensuring the office is operating efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:
-Strong communication and people skills. 
-Ability to work independently. 
-Comfortable with basic computer tasks. 
-Organized, with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
-Willingness to jump in to lend a hand. 

Time Commitment: We are looking for volunteers who can commit to a minimum of 2 - 4 hours per week for at least three months.  Hours are in person at the Youth Central office, a casual, fun environment in the Beltline.
