Autism Today Foundation is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and collaborative Community Manager Volunteer to build an engaging, supportive environment for individuals, families, and professionals impacted by autism. The Community Manager will be responsible for fostering meaningful connections, creating valuable content, and working closely with the Autism Today Team to develop and execute community engagement strategies that are current and impactful. This position is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement and knowledgeable about autism support and advocacy. ● Key Responsibilities: ● Cultivate a welcoming, inclusive community atmosphere where members feel supported and heard. ● Proactively engage with members, respond to inquiries, facilitate discussions, and promote active participation. ● Develop and implement a content calendar, including social media posts, newsletters, and event content, to keep members engaged and informed. ● Curate and moderate content to ensure it meets the needs of the community, fosters positive interaction, and reflects Autism Today’s values. ● Facilitate virtual events, such as Q&A sessions with experts, member meet-ups, and workshops that offer value to the community. ● Track engagement metrics and feedback to assess community health and identify improvement areas. ● Provide regular reports to the Autism Today Team on community engagement trends, content performance, and member feedback to guide strategic decision-making. ● Regularly review and adjust strategies to ensure the community remains vibrant, responsive, and aligned with member needs and industry trends. ● Maintain open communication with the Autism Today Team, discussing community needs, emerging trends, and actionable insights to enhance community value. ● Research other autism communities and relevant groups to identify best practices, ensuring Autism Today Community stays innovative and relevant. Requirements: ● 2+ years of experience in community management, social media, or customer support, ideally within the health, wellness, or educational sectors. ● Knowledge of autism-related topics and resources is highly preferred ● Strong empathy, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to connect meaningfully with diverse members.
