Digital Communications Volunteer

Digital Communications Volunteers are responsible for the content posted on MHC’s social media accounts (Facebook & Instagram). They’ll create posts designed to deliver the organization’s message in a simple manner which fosters conversation, shares, likes, and follows. They’ll also develop mental health awareness content that explains complex mental health concepts in an accessible way.

Time commitment: 2-4 hours a week for a minimum 6-month term (with the opportunity to increase volunteer hours as agreed upon by the volunteer and MHC)
Technology required: computer, high-speed internet, telephone

Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of a strategic plan to ensure the longevity and relevance of MHC’s online presence. A Team Lead will provide overall guidance for these plans. 
Collaborate with MHC teams to increase awareness of MHC services. 
Interact with followers and commenters across MHC’s social media platforms.
Develop and maintain connections with professionals and organizations to facilitate ongoing opportunities for cross promotion.
Contribute to quarterly themed projects that involve the collaboration of the Client Copilot, Database, and Social Media Teams.
