Sherwood Care's Biggest fundraising event of the year: The Grand Parade- Fun Zone team

Sherwood Care is a long-term care facility right in your backyard. 'The Grand Parade' is looking for volunteers to help with this event. Last year we saw over 30 people from the community come out to lend a hand. This event promises to be even bigger, therefore we need even more people to lend a hand. Would you become part of our welcome team? Your responsibilities will include: -Welcoming children/families to the fun zone -Making sure that the kids play in an organized order - Know where first aid is in case of injury - Attend the short volunteer orientation day a week prior to the event - Helping with set up/take down

This is an excellent community event geared at raising funds to help increase our residents' quality of life. This is an excellent opportunity to give back to those who are aging and need a little extra care. A free T-shirt provided to each volunteer Lunch provided
