Squamish Helping Hands is a community-based organization located in downtown Squamish. We provide a range of supports to help people in our community move toward greater stability, wellness, and independence.

At our main location, we offer much more than emergency shelter and supportive housing. We operate a full community food hub including the Food Bank, daily meal service, showers, laundry, clothing, and essential supplies — all accessible in one place.

Our vision is a safe, healthy, and connected community for everyone.

We work to inspire hope and independence through low-barrier, harm reduction-based services that meet people where they’re at. Our programs are grounded in respect, cultural safety, and inclusion, and focus on health and well-being, shelter and transitional housing, food security, and community outreach.

We welcome everyone with dignity and compassion, and we believe in building capacity through connection, trust, and community care.
