Videographer

OVERVIEW: 

We are looking for a talented and passionate videographer to capture the heart and soul of our organization. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause by visually documenting the diverse communities we serve. You will work closely with our event facilitator, Lyle, and our volunteers to create engaging visual content. Your responsibilities will include recording live music performances, conducting testimonial interviews, capturing b-roll footage, and showcasing the overall atmosphere of our events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for various projects.
Operate and maintain video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
Collaborate with clients or creative teams to understand project objectives.
Develop storyboards, shot lists, and production schedules.
Edit raw footage into polished videos with color grading and visual enhancements.
Provide creative input to ensure content aligns with the client’s vision.
Manage multiple video projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Maintain and organize video production equipment.
Troubleshoot technical issues during shoots or post-production.
Export and deliver final videos in required formats for different platforms.
Adhere to copyright laws, privacy policies, and ethical standards.
Obtain necessary permissions and releases from individuals featured in videos.
Stay updated on the latest video production techniques and industry trends.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

Proficient in videography, including camera operation and video editing.
Access to your own camera equipment and editing software. 
Creative eye for visual storytelling and capturing engaging moments.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with the team and participants.
Previous experience in videography or related fields.
