The Stroke Recovery Association of BC (SRABC) has been providing services, education and advocacy to those affected by stroke, throughout every stage of recovery, since 1979. Our mission is to empower survivors to live fulfilling, independent lives post-stroke. We do this by providing participant-centred, barrier-free (including cost-free) stroke recovery programs in over 30 communities across BC. We provide education, resources and hope to stroke survivors, their families, friends and caregivers. We raise awareness regarding the impact of stroke, stroke recovery resources and benefits available in our province, and share information on the prevention of stroke. We also act as a resource for health care professionals and others concerned with the effect of stroke on individuals and their families.

Our vison is for every stroke survivor to move through recovery with hope and support to lead a full and rewarding life.
